Nine WWCC Warrior baseball players have been named to the All-East Region teams by the region coaches for the 2015 season. The Warriors had a very successful season, finishing in 2nd place in the East and hosting a Super-Regional. With their Super-Regional victory, they then went on to the NWAC Championship Tournament, where they finished the season with a 31-17 overall record.
Named to the 1st Team were sophomore outfielders Austin Kopacz and Michael Kilpatrick, as well as freshman catcher Dylan Wilbert and sophomore utility man Clayten Ayres.
The 2nd Team Warriors representatives were sophomore infielder Jarod Paul, freshman outfielder Steven Sordahl, freshman starting pitcher Jake Simmons, and freshman designated hitter Cameron Walker.
Also earning Gold Glove awards for their defensive work were sophomore Cody Price in the infield and Sordahl in the outfield. Sordahl was also named to the All-NWAC Gold Glove team.
