WALLA WALLA — WWCC’s baseball team had Jesse Houser named All-East Region first-team pitcher, JJ Robinson first team designated hitter, and Jarod Gonzales first-team infielder. Robinson was also named to the All-NWAACC first team as the designated hitter.
Houser compiled a 9-2 record with a 3.72 ERA; Robinson had a .343 batting average with 12 doubles and a school-record 12 home runs, as well as 40 RBI; and Gonzales had a .297 average, 15 doubles, five homers and 30 RBI.
Second-team honors went to catcher Jake Browne (.354 average, 12 doubles, 34 RBI), Clayten Ayres in the infield (.317, nine doubles, 20 RBI) and Trevor Jones in the outfield (.303, four doubles, four triples and 28 RBI).
Corey Morris also earned Gold Glove infielder.
