Warriors salvage split in baseball doubleheader

Walla Walla Community Colllege split a pair of Northwest Athletic Conference baseball games on Saturday at Warrior Field.

WWCC routed Green River, 12-1, before bowing to Treasure Valley, 7-3.

Sean Coffey, Devon Roe, and Cooper Larson had two hits apiece in the first game for Walla Walla.

The Warriors dropped their second game of the day despite three hits from Justin Macdonald and two each from Larson and Dimmick Wood.

WWCC, now 4-2 on the season, hosts a tripleheader today starting at 10 a.m.

Shoreline plays Treasure Valley in the opener before taking shots against Walla Walla. Shoreline plays the Warriors at 1 p.m. and TVCC plays the hosts at 4.
