Abel Bautista joined Walla Walla Community College as Head Men's Soccer Coach in 2025. In his first season at the helm, the Warriors qualified for the NWAC Men's Soccer Playoffs.
Originally from Kennewick, WA, Bautista began his collegiate career at Columbia Basin College where he was a member of the program from 2009-2011. He captained the team to an NWAC East Region Championship in 2010 and earned NWAC All-Star honors. After CBC, Bautista transferred to NCAA Div. I St. Bonaventure University in New York, competing in the Atlantic 10 (A10) Conference as the Bonnies' starting goalkeeper.
Currently, Bautista also serves as a coach in the Three Rivers Soccer Club that competes in the prestigious ECNL. Coach Bautista has won a WYS State Championship, back-to-back ECNL-RL Northwest League Championships, back-to-back ECNL-RL West Coast Regional Championships, an ECNL-RL National Championship (2024), and many more titles across multiple age groups at the club level.
Coach Bautista will complete his USSF C License in the spring of 2026.
