Walla Walla Community College’s men, a night after dumping Mount Hood CC, 114-79, took care of Blue Mountain CC, 79-56, Saturday night in the Dietrich Dome to finish 2-0 in Warrior Classic basketball action.
Friday’s triple-digit scoring by the Warriors “was probably our best game of the year,” WWCC coach Jeff Reinland said of his 4-0 squad. “It was just an overall good game for us.”
The Warriors had four players score in double figures, led by Damen Thacker’s 25 points and Landon Radliff’s 22.
“We played well and played energy,” Reinland said. “We were mentally alert out there.”
WWCC plays Shoreline CC at 3 p.m. next Friday in the Bellevue Holiday Classic.
“It’s been awhile since we were 4-0,” Reinland said.
