Warriors rout Sasquatch

1/21/15

The Warrior men moved into a tie for 2nd place in the East Region as they defeated the Spokane Sasquatch 99-68 in the Dietrich Dome on Wednesday night.

WWCC was hot once again as they shot 47% (17-36) for the game from 3-point range and scored more than half of their total points from outside the arc. Gabe Porter and Payton Radliff led the Warriors with 28 and 22 points, respectively, as they combined to go 11-20 from 3-point range. Satchel Schetzle also chipped in 16 points and a team-leading nine rebounds.

Walla Walla saw their 20-point halftime lead (55-35) trimmed to nine points as Spokane went on an 11-0 run in the first minute and 30 seconds of the 2nd half. But that was as close as the Sasquatch would get all night as the Warriors moved to 3-1 in East Region play.

WWCC will next play against Big Bend CC in Moses Lake, WA on Saturday, January 24th at 4:00pm.
