Three Warriors headed to Corban University

Three Warrior Men’s Soccer players, Freddy Rodriguez, Alex Espana, and Miguel Rodriguez, will be taking their talents to Corban University next season to continue their academic and athletic careers.

Freddy Rodriguez finished the season with four goals and four assists from the forward position. He was also named an All-Eastern Region performer.

Alex Espana was a full-time starter in the midfield for the Warriors. He helped a defense that allowed only .75 goals per game, which was 2nd best in the NWAC. He also recorded one assist on the season.

Miguel Rodriguez came off the bench in all but two matches this past season, but was still a force on the offensive side for WWCC. He scored four goals, tied with Freddy Rodriguez for second most on the team, including two goals aginst North Idaho in a critical 4-0 win.

The Warrior men finished the 2018 season as East Region Champions by going 8-1-3 in region play. Their overall record was 10-3-4. They lost in the Quarterfinals of the NWAC Tournament to Pierce, 3-0.
