Northwest Athletic Conference Eastern Region champion Walla Walla Community College saw a successful 2018 men’s soccer season come to an end Saturday afternoon at Warrior Field.
The Warriors were upended by Pierce, 3-0, in an NWAC quarterfinal matchup.
Tate Hamlett got the Raiders (8-6-2) on the board with an unassisted goal in the 28th minute.
A Carlos Rodriguez header at the 75-minute mark gave Pierce a 2-0 lead.
Marcos Santos ended the scoring by knocking in a rebound off an unsuccessful penalty kick in the 89th minute.
The Raiders outshot the Warriors 13-10. Both teams had five shots on goal.
Pierce, which finished third in the West Region during the regular season, punched a ticket for NWAC semifinal action with Saturday’s win.
WWCC completed its season 10-3-4.
