Walla Walla Community College stepped up to shut out first-place Spokane … but then again, the Sasquatch returned the favor for a 0-0 draw in Northwest Athletic Conference men’s soccer here Wednesday.
The second-place Warriors (7-2-3 overall, 4-2-2 in the region) returned to the scoring drought that has plagued them since Sept. 10.
Walla Walla totaled four goals over that five-game span, failing to score more than one goal in any of them.
The Warriors then exploded for three goals Saturday against Treasure Valley, but managed none against Spokane.
The Warriors next play Saturday in Pasco at Columbia Basin.
