Wa-Hi graduate Edwin Romero fed Andres Arroyo for the game’s only goal, scored in the 61st minute, as Walla Walla Community College came away with a 1-0 victory over Treasure Valley in an NWAC East Region men’s soccer match here on Saturday.
WWCC goalie Alex Grimaldo made four saves to record a shutout win for the first-place Warriors (9-2-2 overall, 7-1-1 in the East), who claimed their third straight win.
The Warriors will stay home for their next match, hosting second-place Spokane (6-2-1 in the East) at Wednesday afternoon at 3:15 p.m.
