PASCO — The Walla Walla Community College mens soccer team squared off against Columbia Basin College in a matchup that ended in a 0-0 draw here on Saturday.
The Warriors weren’t able to create many opportunities for themselves in the first half after only recording one shot. CBC, however, found many opportunities to open the scoring with four shots but couldn’t find the back of the net in the first half.
The second half was the opposite for both teams as WWCC put up three shots to CBC’s one, but was not able to capitalize on any of those opportunities.
Both teams received red cards towards the end of the match, as Bailey Ward for the Warriors and Jason Cortes for CBC were marked.
Walla Walla will travel to Wentatchee Valley on Wednesday as they look to bounce back in the win column. That game starts at 4:15 p.m.
