Walla Walla High grad Brandi Schoessler picked up a pair of softball victories in the circle for Walla Walla Community College on the Warriors’ field on Sunday.
In the opener of the NWAC East Region matchup against Spokane, Schoessler had two strikeouts and won a five-inning decision, 11-2, over the Sasquatch.
In the nightcap, Schoessler relieved starter Anna Williams in the first inning and hand three strikeouts as she led WWCC to a 9-6 victory.
Warrior Erin Ware led the offense with four hits in the doubleheader.
Lyndzie Parker had a home run for WWCC in the first game.
The Warriors are now 11-5 in league play, 16-8 overall, and travel to Yakima Valley for a pair of games on Friday.
