The Warrior softball team went 2-2 on the weekend, getting their first wins of the season. On Saturday, the Warriors lost to SW Oregon 11-5 in game one, giving up a late 5-2 lead. However, they bounced back to win game two on a Paige Pontorolo walk-off single in the 7th for the 6-5 win over the Lakers.
On Sunday, WWCC took the opener 11-3 before falling in the second game 14-13. They are now 2-6 on the season and open up East Region play this week when they travel to Treasure Valley on Friday and Blue Mountain on Saturday.
