PASCO — Walla Walla Community College won a squeaker and a blow out here in NWAC East softball Saturday.
The Warriors won the opener, 4-3.
WWCC then blasted three home runs in the nightcap, scored eight in the first and coasted to a five-inning 16-4 win to complete the NWAC East Region sweep.
Rachel Collins, in the circle for the Warriors, was up to the task and completed her complete game six hitter, with a scoreless seventh to preserve the Warrior 4-3 win.
In game two, the Warriors jumped on the Hawks for eight first-inning runs and CBC never got untracked.
The Warriors travel to Moses Lake for an East Region doubleheader Wednesday.
