Warrior Men's Hoops Falls at Home to Treasure Valley
Walla Walla, WA - Treasure Valley began last night's game on a 12-0 run and never looked back, leading the Warriors wire to wire and handing them their second NWAC East loss of the season with a score of 96-78. Walla Walla wasn't able to slow down the first half offensive attack of the Chukars who were 18/34 (52.9%) from the field in the period, leading to a 42-33 advantage at halftime. The WWCC offense started to find its stride in the second half as the Warriors would shoot 50% from the field, 33.3% from 3-point land and 83.3% from the foul line, but it wasn't enough as TVCC also kept their hot hand going, finishing the night 36/66 (54.5%) from the field.
Braden Sherrill led all scorers with a career-high 29 points on 11/20 shooting and 6 made 3-pointers. The sophomore would also add 8 rebounds and 3 assists to his stat line in the contest. Three other Warriors finished with double digit points last night: Tanner Goldsmith (17), Josh Byers (10), and Jake Curtis (10). Hudson Floyd helped to facilitate the Warrior scorers, capping the night with 7 assists to go with 1 rebound and 5 points.

Walla Walla will be looking to get back on track on Saturday when they take on the Knights of Wenatchee Valley. The game is set to get started at 2 PM.
