Warrior Men's Soccer Falls to Lane in NWAC Playoffs First Round
Eugene, OR - After qualifying for the 2025 NWAC Men's Soccer Championship, the Walla Walla Community College Warriors saw their season end at the hands of Lane Community College with a 1-0 first round loss. In Abel Bautista's first year as head coach of the program, his WWCC squad finished 6-6-4 overall and 4-2-4 in East Region play, advancing to the NWAC Playoffs for the 4th year in a row.
The lone goal of the match for Lane came in the 43rd minute and Walla Walla just wasn't able to muster an equalizer working through the second half of the match. Walla Walla totalled 3 shots, 2 of them on goal in the entirety of the match. In goal, keeper Aaron Lowry was challenged with 3 shots on goal, making saves on 2 of them.
The Warriors will turn their attention to off-season training and begin their preparation for a successful 2026 campaign!
