Warrior Women's Soccer Looking to Hit Their Stride in NWAC East Second Half
Walla Walla, WA - The Warrior Women's Soccer team has battled hard in their last two matches, but come up just short falling 1-0 to both Spokane and Blue Mountain. Walla Walla, now 3-3 in NWAC East play, still sits in third place in the region as the schedule flips to the back half of in-region competition.
Walla Walla 0 vs. Spokane 1 (September 27)
Spokane got things going and was able to take the early momentum as it was an 8th minute goal that gave them a 1-0 lead that would ultimately be the difference in the match. Walla Walla's attack included 5 total shots and 2 shots on goal, but they were unable to find the equalizer against a tough Spokane squad that currently sits in 2nd place in the East region and holds a 5-1 overall record.
Walla Walla 0 vs. Blue Mountain 1 (October 1)
The early goal by the opposition struck again for Walla Walla as BMCC opened the scoring in the 10th minute jumping out to a 1-0 lead. This time, Walla Walla's offensive attack well outnumbered that of their opponent with the Warriors taking 10 total shots, 4 of them on goal, however for the second straight game they were unable to find the equalizer. After a short lightning delay midway through the second half, the game would end up being called with about 10 minutes left due to the lightning in the area.

The second half of NWAC East play is upon the Warrior Women's Soccer team as they will have a bye this weekend before picking things back up with a trip to Columbia Basin College on Saturday, October 11.
