Split Trip Wraps Up Warriors Volleyball Preseason Schedule

Des Moines, WA - The Warriors Women's Volleyball team put the finishing touches on their preseason schedule last weekend, matching up against four different schools in the Highline Crossover hosted by Highline College. Walla Walla, now 7-5 overall on the year, started slow on Friday losing both of their matches. The first matchup resulted in a 3-0 loss to a tough Rogue Community College squad who won all four of their matches at the Highline Crossover and only dropped one set the entire weekend. The second loss of the day was at the hands of Tacoma Community College who won both the 4th and 5th sets to take the match over the Warriors.

However, Walla Walla got back to their winning ways on Saturday in dominant fashion with two straight sets wins, first over Shoreline Community College and then Olympic College.

What's next?

The Warriors Women will look to keep the momentum rolling as they turn their focus to NWAC East play. Their first opportunity will be this Friday as they make the quick drive to the Tri-Cities to take on Columbia Basin. That match is scheduled to get started at 6:00 PM.
