Warriors Drop Volleyball Matchup to Treasure Valley
Ontario, OR - The Walla Walla Community College Women's Volleyball team came up short in their match against Treasure Valley on Wednesday night in Ontario, Oregon. The Warriors, 8-6 overall and 1-1 in NWAC East play, battled hard to extend the match but would ultimately fall in four sets. With the win, the Chukars move to 16-2 overall and 2-0 in NWAC East competition, tied at the top of the standings with Yakima Valley.
The first two sets of the match were controlled by Treasure Valley who won both frames by a score of 25-13. However, the Warriors were able to bounce back and battle to a tightly contested 25-23 win in set three! The final set of the match was also a close one as Walla Walla gave Treasure Valley a run, but would come up short losing 25-21 and seeing the match end in a 3-1 loss.

The challenging NWAC East schedule continues for the Warriors as they will play host to Yakima Valley on Friday night (September 26). The match will get started at 6:00 PM in the Dietrich Dome on the campus of Walla Walla Community College.
