Warrior Volleyball Set to Host Spokane for 'Pink Night' Following Road Win Over Big Bend
Moses Lake, WA - The straight sets victory made another appearance for the Walla Walla Community College Women's Volleyball team on Wednesday night, making it three in a row dating back to October 1st against Blue Mountain. The Warriors were given their biggest test in the match against Big Bend in set 1 where Walla Walla was able to pull away to claim a 25-21 first set victory. After that, WWCC kicked it into gear easily handling the Vikings 25-19 in set 2, and 25-11 in set 3. With the win, the Warriors are now 11-7 overall and 4-2 in NWAC East play. They find themselves tied for 3rd place in the NWAC East with Spokane as the top four teams in the region (Treasure Valley, Yakima Valley, Spokane, and Walla Walla) begin separating from the bottom four teams (Columbia Basin, Blue Mountain, Big Bend, and Wenatchee Valley) in the back half of in-region play.

A huge match is set to be played tonight in the Dietrich Dome as Spokane makes the trip south to take on Walla Walla. It is 'Pink Night' as the Warriors will be promoting breast cancer awareness and with a win, can move into sole possession of 3rd place in the standings. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
