Warrior Volleyball Looks to End Regular Season Strong Before Postseason Action
Walla Walla, WA - With the final match of the regular season still to play, the Walla Walla Community College Volleyball team has officially locked up a spot in the 2025 NWAC Volleyball Championships! Both the #3 and #4 seeds in the East Region are still available and will be decided by tonight's result between the Warriors and Spokane. A win tonight would give Walla Walla the #3 seed and make it three straight victories heading into the postseason.
On Wednesday night, Walla Walla held 'Sophomore Night' to honor their sophomores prior to claiming a straight sets victory over the visiting Big Bend Vikings. The Warriors won all three sets handily with scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-14 respectively. Natalie Evers led the Warriors in the attack with 12 kills on 19 attempts, followed by Aubree Zimmer who converted on 7 kills in 25 attempts. Kennedy Coleman had an outstanding night with the serve, finishing the match with 3 aces to set the pace for the Warriors. Defensively, Rachel Buehner would register 20 digs to lead WWCC.

The Warriors wrap up the 2025 regular season tonight with a match in Spokane. The winner of the match will claim the #3 seed in the East Region, the loser the #4 seed. That match is set to get started at 6:00 PM. Where Walla Walla will be sent to open up the 2025 NWAC Championships will be determined by how the seeding finishes.
