BELLEVUE, Wash. — Walla Walla Community College bounced back from a loss to Bellevue and swept Shoreline to salvage one win out of two non-league volleyball matches here Tuesday.
The Warriors (9-6 record) lost their first match to Bellevue, 25-23, 25-18 and 25-18.
Walla Walla sophomore Samantha Grove scored seven kills, while classmate and Pomeroy High graduate Savannah Ruark had six.
Teammate Dani Burke made 10 assists, and Tori Wegdahl had 11 digs.
The Warriors soon returned to sweep Shoreline, 25-20, 25-23 and 25-15. No stats were reported.
Walla Walla returns to action Saturday to host North Idaho for their first league match this season.
