ONTARIO, Ore. — Walla Walla Community College’s volleyball team picked up its fourth straight match victory as the Warriors swept Treasure Valley, 25-21, 25-10 and 25-12, in Northwest Athletic Conference East Region action here on Wednesday.
Abbey Schwager, fresh off winning regional Setter of the Week honors for WWCC (10-1 overall, 1-0 in the East), dished 28 assists here.
Morgan Ness scored 16 kills and hit .469 with four blocks for the Warriors, teammate Ocean Bryan added nine kills while hitting .308, and Kacey Halbert made 17 digs and served two aces.
“We are happy with that win on the road and taking care of business with our first East Region match,” Warriors coach Chelsie Speer said.
The Warriors will next play at the Spokane Tournament on Friday, starting with Yakima Valley at 9 a.m.
