DeSales graduate and Walla Walla Community College sophomore basketball player Teresa Acock signed her Letter of Intent to attend and play at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Ore.
In Acock’s two-year Warrior career, the team went 56-6, and this season won a school-record 32 games, was undefeated in the NWAC East with a school-record 30 straight wins, and WWCC won the NWAC Championship.
Western Oregon is a Division II school that plays in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
She averaged 13.3 points per game and made 101 3-point shots this season, which is second on the all-time single-season 3-point shooting mark behind teammate Cierra Jo McKeown’s 133. Acock hit 41 percent of her 3-pointers, good for second in the NWAC.
