Jade Skidmore, West Jefferson HS / Terreton, ID., led the 2nd-ranked Warriors to double digit wins over Wenatchee Valley (11-6) and Big Bend (13-5). Skidmore tallied 18.5 points per game with 11 assists and 3 steals. She also recorded a rare triple double in the game against the Vikings, netting 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
“Jade had a great floor game against Big Bend, completely controlling the game with her triple-double,” said WWCC head coach Bobbi Hazeltine. “In each game this week, Jade was in double figures in both points and rebounds. For a point guard, the rebounding stat is pretty impressive. Jade sees the floor as well as any player I have coached. She has had a solid season but a particularly great weekend against three very good East Region teams.”
