Cierra Jo McKeown, Touchet HS / Touchet, WA., led the 2nd-ranked Warriors to double digit wins over Yakima Valley (13-5), North Idaho (11-7) and Blue Mountain. McKeown averaged 26.3 points per game on 61.2% shooting (54.8% from the three on 31 shots). She also added 12 rebounds, 16 assists and 3 steals.
“Cierra Jo had a very solid week in three East Region games,” said WWCC head coach Bobbi Hazeltine. “Her near 26 point average was impressive, but even more impressive was her shooting percentage. Cierra has been consistent like that all year for us. She put in hours of time this summer, and her dedication is really paying off.”
