The Walla Walla Warriors women’s basketball team was represented by two freshmen on the NWAC All-Eastern Region team. Jade Skidmore, who averaged 12.12 points, 7.88 rebounds and 4.0 assists, and Cierro Jo McKeown, 19.8 points, 2.52 assists, and 1.64 assists, were both named to the Eastren Region First Team. McKeown, whose scoring average was good for ninth highest in the NWAC, was also named Freshman of the Year.
The Warriors, 21-4 overall, 14-2 in the East Region, and East Region Co-Champs, will play in the NWAC Sweet 16 this Saturday, March 11th at 4:00pm against Clackamas at Everett Community College.
