LAKEWOOD, Wash. — WWCC defeated Lane, 80-61, on Saturday for its second straight win in women’s basketball action here at the Raiders Holiday Invite this weekend.
In Friday action, the Warriors used a 21-9 second-quarter run to build a 46-22 lead at intermission and substituted freely in the second half to march to an 80-61 win over Lane.
The Warriors had three in double digits led by MCkeown’s 29. Acock and Skidmore each added 12. Skidmore led the Warrior assist makers with seven. Taylor Turner grabbed a game-high nine rebounds for WWCC.
The Warriors travel to the Centralia Cross Over to face host Centralia Friday.
