Walla Walla, WA – WWCC overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Blue Mountain 70-62.
Jessica Siler led all scores with a game high 26 points, shooting 60% from the field. Karli McHone also added 17 points and Lainey Corbett had a team high 7 assists.
WWCC shoot 81% from the free throw line making 17 of there 21 attempts. Walla Walla also had a plus five advantage on the boards 38-33. Blue Mountain scoring mostly came from behind the arc, making 12 threes.
The Warriors improve to 11-2 in conference and 17-7 on the season with the win.
Second place Walla Walla will host first place Columbia Basin Saturday at 2 pm in the Dome.
