The Warrior women won their league opener on Wednesday night by defeating Blue Mountain 84-74. Bailey Nygaard led the way for the Warriors with 33 points. Jessica Siler chipped in a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds while AmyDeLong and MeShel Rad both contributed double digit points with 12 and 10, respectively.
Walla Walla broke open a 31-31 halftime tie by shooting 44% and outrebounding the Timberwolves 55-49. The Warrior now sit at 7-5 overall and 1-0 in the East Region. They will next play at home on Saturday, January 11th against Treasure Valley at 2pm.
