EDMONDS, Wash. — Undefeated Walla Walla Community College tallied three goals in a four-minute span, as the Warriors recorded their third 3-0 shutout victory this season in a women’s soccer non-league match here Tuesday.
Walla Walla (3-0 record) has outscored its opposition, 9-0.
Freshman goalie Paige Kubista made two saves against Edmonds, while sophomore Jeanette Alvarado had one in their combined effort.
Walla Walla’s scoring barrage started in the 23rd minute, when freshman forward Jessica Garcia found the back on the net.
Sophomore forward Haley Berryman quickly added two more goals. Only two minutes after Garcia scored, Berryman doubled the lead off an assist from freshman midfielder Madison Hemenway. Two minutes later, sophomore midfielder Daisy Nateras fed Berryman for another goal.
The Warriors next play Friday at home against Lane.
