Walla Walla Community College’s women’s soccer team scored five goals in each half Friday afternoon and coasted to a 10-0 romp over Blue Mountain in Northwest Athletic Conference action.
Haley Berryman scored a hat trick and Hannah Thompson added two goals for Walla Walla, now 4-1 in league and 8-1-2 overall.
Daisy Nateras got the Warriors on the board in the second minute of play and Sam Filingeri-Oleson made it 2-0 with a goal in the 16th minute.
Thompson, teammate Emily Thorton, and Berryman closed out the scoring in the opening half at the 28-, 35-, and 42-minute marks, respectively.
Nohemy Sanchez logged WWCC’s first goal in the second half 11 minutes in. Thompson made it 7-0 in the 65th minute.
Tate Kautzky scored in the 72nd minute before Berryman finished off her hat trick with goals in minutes 74 and 76.
