Wohl named NWAC Soccer Player of the Week

Clarkston High School • Clarkston, WA

Wohl registered a hat trick in Saturday’s game vs. Blue Mountain and another goal against Treasure Valley last week. She is currently at the top of the league in goals with 10 on the season.

“Taylen has been the catalyst to our offense the entire year,” said WWCC head coach Jordan Hacker. “She is leading both our team and the NWAC in goals (10) and total points (21). She done this in all seven matches with a goal or assist in every match. This past week Taylen scored 1 goal against TVCC and scored her first two goals in the first half against Blue Mountain. She completed her hat-trick in the second half. Taylen is a true goal scorer, she is in the right spots at the right times. She forces defenders into mistakes and capitalizes on those mistakes. Taylen battled through sickness and injuries her freshman year. This lit a fire in her to come out and compete hard every day. She is being rewarded for that hard work. A lot of credit goes to her teammates who keep finding her in great spots to score. Our balanced attack has allowed Taylen to find space to finish quality chances to score.”
