Spokane — It was a defensive battle as the WWCC women’s soccer team traveled to Spokane this past Saturday to take on the Sasquatch.
The game ended in a 0-0 tie even, with Spokane creating several opportunites to score with seven total shots and four on goal.
Walla Walla was limited to one shot on goal.
Warrior goalie Danielle Dowd stepped up and had four saves for Walla Walla.
Walla Walla’s overall record on the year is 6-3-1 and 3-2-1 in conference play.
The Warriors will next play on Sept. 29th at Columbia Basin at 12:00pm.
This will be the first of two matchups between these two teams this year.
